Ken Wood, Football

Since starting as a football official in 1997, Ken Wood has worked two Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) state semifinal games, in addition to a number of quarterfinal and preliminary round games. He also officiated the 2007 Minor League Football Association West Championship game and the Northwest Football League semifinal.

Ken became a member of the Western Washington Football Officials Association in 1997, and since 2008 has been a board member and assistant apprentice trainer. Ken has also been a member of the Northwest Football Officials Association since 2001, and this year serves that organization as a board member.

A support of youth sports since his days in the military, Ken is currently involved in Little League. His wife, Ellen, is a South Hill Little League board member.

A Seattle native, Ken graduated in 1981 from Warden High School and in 1991 from Pierce College. He lives in Puyallup and works as a field engineer in IT support for General Dynamics.
