Ross Parker, Girl's Basketball
Ross caught the officiating bug working intramural sports as a student at Washington State University. In 1981 he joined the Tacoma Basketball Board of officials and recently completed his 32nd year of consecutive service. He served on the organization’s Executive Board from 1998-2002 and 2007-2011. Ross also served the TBB as an officiating observer and instructor running camps for referees.
Ross has been a girls state basketball tournament official eight times ranging from the 2B level to 4A. He has also refereed many district and regional playoff games.
A four-sport letterman at Curtis High School (Class of 1977), Ross also has a deep coaching background in track & field. He was part of the Vikings’ school record 4x100 relay of 43.7 in 1977. Born in Tacoma. Ross works as a residential real estate appraiser
