The nomination for Junior reads, "Rogers High School senior standout kicker Junior Dreeson sent a kickoff approximately 78 yards out of the end zone during the Rams' game against Bethel on Friday, September 23. This past summer in Naples, Florida, Dreeson earned the title of 2023 FBU Top Gun Kickoff Champion. He's a 4.5-star kicker on the verge of earning his fifth star, according to Chris Sailer Kicking."
Each week, the WIAA and Gesa Credit Union will recognize WIAA student-athletes for outstanding performances and impactful contributions in their communities. Selections are based on nominations. To nominate a student-athlete for consideration, please fill out the form. Nominations are due each Tuesday by 8:00am.
All students in good academic standing at their schools are eligible to receive the Athlete of the Week Award. Students may win the award once during any given academic year.
