A senior at Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup, Nick Kajca was a three-year letterman in football and also participated in track for three straight seasons.
During his junior and senior years Nick wrote for the JagWire, the school newspaper and his senior year he was also a member of the Editorial Board. Nick earned first place in sports writing in the Edward R. Murrow high school journalism competition and received an excellent in sports writing at the 2006 National High School Journalism convention.
Nick enjoys such activities as snowboarding, church group, and spending time with his friends and family. He plans to attend Washington State University pursue a journalism career.
